The Vélodyssée is a greenway that connects Redon to Blain, over a distance of several kilometers. 

This section of the cycle path is ideal for families who want to enjoy a bike ride in the countryside. The route is fully signposted and safe, allowing cyclists to travel with complete peace of mind. 

To plan your route, you can consult the Vélodyssée map: Redon - Blain Green Way, which will show you the various points of interest along the way. If you wish to extend your stay, you will find several accommodation options to suit all budgets. You can choose to stay in a gîte, a hotel, a campsite, or a bed and breakfast. These establishments are located near the cycle path, making access easy and allowing you to fully enjoy your stay. 

For families, it's possible to rent child-friendly bicycles, allowing them to join in the adventure. In addition, numerous activities are offered along the route, such as a visit to Saint-Sauveur Abbey in Redon, where you can discover the history of this ancient Breton abbey. You can also stop at Pont-Miny in Fégréac, where the Canal House features an exhibition about the Nantes-Brest Canal. There, you can learn how a lock works and discover the history of this waterway. Further along, the Bellion site offers a panoramic view of the confluence of the canal and the Vilaine River. You can have a picnic there and enjoy the 360° scenery. 

If you wish, you can also stop at the Bellion municipal campsite, which offers pitches for cyclists. For leisure enthusiasts, the Saint-Clair leisure park in Guenrouët offers numerous activities, such as mini-golf, canoe and kayak rentals, pedal boats, as well as a swimming area and a spa. You can also swim at the Etang d'Aumée, which has a beach and offers paddleboarding. Finally, for nature lovers, the Gâvre forest is located near the Vélodyssée cycle route. 

You can enjoy family outings organised with the Benoist-Maison de la Forêt museum and discover the Buhel pond in Pléssé, with its beach and wake park.
