The Véloscénie Paris - Mont St Michel: Green Route Alençon - Pré en Pail

The Alençon - Pré en Pail - Rives d'Andaine greenway is a greenway, following the route of a former railway line, that winds through the Normandy countryside, alternating between the Orne and Mayenne departments, reaching as far as Bagnoles de l'Orne and Couterne. A beautiful cycling route starting from Alençon, it passes successively through the villages of Damigny, Lonrai, St Denis sur Sarthon, Lalacelle, Pré en Pail Saint Samson, then Couptrain, Mehoudin, and finally Rives d'Andaine. A wonderful opportunity for slow tourism by bike amidst gentle and refreshing landscapes.
