La Yonne Riverbanks Green Way, between Meaning et Montereau-Fault-Yonne, offers a gentle escape to the heart of the Yonne, a Burgundian department which owes its name to the river it follows. 

The new section that has just been finalized concerns the section Cuy - Vinneuf.

This cycle track A safe path runs along the banks, inviting both enthusiasts of Biking sporting that the followers of VAE to enjoy a smooth and accessible route. As a family, everyone can find their own pace on this flat and green route, punctuated by heritage and landscape stops.

From Sens, a city of art and history, the Gothic cathedral of Saint-Étienne stands out as the first landmark. Further north, Villeneuve-sur-Yonne reveals its medieval charm through its ramparts and fortified gates. Continuing past orchards and peaceful villages, the route leads to Pont-sur-Yonne before reaching Montereau-Fault-Yonne, at the confluence of the Seine and the Yonne rivers, a key site in Napoleonic history.

This route, currently under development, forms an essential link in the major cycling networks. To the south, it extends the route towards Migennes and thus joins the Burgundy cycling tour (V51)To the north, it connects to the Seine by bike (V33)offering continuity towards Paris or Normandy. This interregional dimension makes it a true green artery between Burgundy-Franche-Comté and Île-de-France.
