Cher Valley Greenway

This offshoot of the Loire à Vélo cycle route is definitely worth the detour. Stretching for about twenty kilometers, this greenway, starting east of Tours, winds through the heart of the Cher Valley and its magnificent villages and castles. The highlight is the Château de Chenonceau, straddling both banks of the river and directly accessible from the greenway.
