You can explore the village of Remiremont, the many villages and churches of the valley (the church in Ferdrupt is well worth a visit!), the view of the Ballon d'Alsace, which rises to 1247m above Saint-Maurice-sur-Moselle, the Théâtre du Peuple in Bussang, or the Maison des Hautes Mines in Le Thillot.

Two routes for a unique discovery of the High Vosges

This section follows the Moselle River to its source, passing through picturesque villages and dense forests. Relatively flat for the first 20 kilometers, it becomes more hilly after Le thillotoffering a gradual immersion in a mountain setting. BussangThe terminus of this section houses the iconic People's Theatre, an unmissable cultural venue.

2. From Remiremont to Cornimont: The Moselotte Valley (23 km)

This route offers a remarkable diversity of landscapes. After an open start with superb mountain views, the trail plunges into spectacular gorges from VagneyThe arrival at Cornimont marks the end of the greenway, but a cycle route allows the most motivated to reach La Bresse, a resort popular with outdoor activity enthusiasts.

Open to all and free of charge, the High Vosges greenway accommodates various sports and leisure activities:

  • Bicycle tourism : An ideal route for road bikes, hybrid bikes and mountain bikes.
