The Flow Vélo is an invitation to gentle adventure, a route where nature and heritage intertwine harmoniously. Stretching over 400 km, this greenway connects Sarlat-la-Canéda, Dordogne withAix Island, Charente MaritimePerfect for a family getaway or an e-bike expedition, it stands out for its varied route between green valleys, historic towns and peaceful banks of the Charente river.

Starting in the heart of Périgord NoirThe cycle path crosses the Regional Natural Park of Périgord Limousin and the Perigord Vert before heading to the Charente region. Here, Angoulême It stands out as an essential stop, central to the route, with its comic strip murals and museums dedicated to the 9th art. The Flow Vélo then follows the river Charenteoffering a series of stages rich in discoveries: Cognac and its prestigious trading houses, its vineyard landscapes (pineau, cognac), Saintes and its Gallo-Roman remains, then Rochefort and its Arsenal.

The route not only offers varied and bucolic landscapes, but also connects major European cycle routes. It thus intersects...'EuroVelo 1 (The Velodyssey)' and the EuroVelo 3 (The Scandiberian)allowing the adventure to be extended beyond the Charentes region.
